GET IT is an acronym for "Gwinnett Entrepreneurship Through Innovative Technology".
In short, the goal is to support the current generation of young people that are inspired to become young entrepreneurs, to help them to achieve their dreams.
Bill Gates of Microsoft and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook both left Harvard at 19. Ashley Qualls is worth $4 million at 17 years old, making free templates for MySpace! With the number of bright students in Gwinnett, we need to do something to help our young entrepreneurs. That's GET IT.
Good candidates for GET IT will be self-starters, those who like to get things done, even if it means extra hours of work for themselves. They are creative problem-solvers, seeing opportunity in the good and the bad.
